Corsica: Nicknamed the Island of Beauty , Corsica is the third largest island in the Mediterranean , it will seduce you with its varied breathtaking landscapes and its many villages perched in the mountains. It is a magnificent setting for a romantic stay, with friends or family. Dominated by Mont Cinto, Corsica offers an exceptional natural heritage, especially during hikes in the forest of Aitone, scuba diving in the Calanches de Piana classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site or during swimming on the pretty beaches of Ajaccio , beaches with long sand dunes.

Corsican culinary specialties: Corsica will also seduce you with all its local products. First of all its charcuterie with the inevitable figatellu, its lonzu, its coppa, prisuttu and sausage, then with its cheeses such as brocciu, Corsican tomme with sheep's milk, Corsican goat cheese or u casgiu merzu, this Corsican cheese with live maggots. Ajaccio: "The Imperial City": Between the Mediterranean Sea and the green maquis, the city of Ajaccio is one of the most touristic cities in Corsica. Located in South Corsica , Ajaccio is above all known for being the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte . Thus, you will be able to discover throughout the city many marks of homage to the emperor. Indeed, the city that is also called "imperial city" has streets, places, shops bearing the name of Napoleon. Many statues of the emperor are also present on the Place Austerlitz and the Place De Gaulles. The Emperor's House, located in the old town, is now a museum where you can discover period furniture as well as the history of the Bonapartes. Then, located more on the heights of Ajaccio, you can also walk in the Parc des Milelli, a very large property of the Bonaparte family where their holiday home "La Badine" is located but also an arboretum and a centuries-old olive grove. With an area of 12 hectares, the Milelli estate has become a pleasant public garden where Ajaccio residents like to walk. The house, closed to the visit, is classified as a historical monument. Napoleon stayed there for the last time in 1799 with Berthier, Murat and Lannes on his return from Egypt. The beaches of Ajaccio: Ajaccio has magnificent beaches with long stretches of fine sand, you can relax, take a good swim and why not paddle or dive . There are the urban beaches of Ajaccio such as the beach in the city center of St François, accessible on foot or by bus, the beach of Lazaret also called the beach of Aspretto in the direction of the airport or the beach of Trottel. These three beaches have the advantage of being close to the city center. Moving a little away from the center in the direction of the Sanguinaires Islands, you will find the prettiest beaches of Ajaccio such as Marinella, Terre sacrée, Macumba, Mooréa, or at Capo di Feno where the beach has remained in a wild state.

The Sanguinaires Islands: At the tip of the Parata are the Sanguinaires Islands, an archipelago made up of four rocky islands of magmatic origin. You can walk around and reach the Parata Tower.
